Because you’re reading this I’m sure you have an internet friend or even a net community. Some net communities provide a place where you can put your personal profile and pictures in it and meet new friend through chatting, forums etc. And I admit, I’m one of these net people and I’m also lucky to meet these precious friends of mine that I only knew first from the net but as time passes by, we get to know each other and meet many times, have a good time, go to concerts, go to malls and other stuffs that good friends do. And I’m proud to let everyone to know the Davao’s Pride (DP) group members:
Faj “the bubbly girl” (my first friend in the group. Has an adorable smile and dimples.)
KS “the romantic singkit” (a loyal lover and friend with charming eyes and smiles.)
Vince “the former president” (can handle people well. a hardworking blogger.)
Nath “the Drunken Master” (almost drunk all the time and our liquor mixer master. A very good friend and we have the same favorites like animes.)
Carl “manong” (the camera provider. Hehe.)
Domz “the Photoshop Guru” (a photoshop addict)
Kent “Girl Hunter” (knows how to handle girls well. Has a small dosage when it comes to liquors. Hehe.)
Vini “better late than never” (almost late all the time when it comes to meeting because his house is so far from downtown. A smiling person)
Shaska “the sexy” (a liberated person but knows how to handle herself well. She knows how to handle life well too.)
Yiel “the outgoing” (always there when there is fun. A lovable and bubbly person)
Kenny “the group handler” (gives much effort to make the group in order and harmonious.)
Mayen “the outland adventurer” (loves to adventure to mountains and other trips)
JC “the daddy” (even though he’s not a daddy yet but the concern and care he gives to the group much more like it.)
Yam “the engineer” (naughty but yet responsible.)
Karen “The Nurse” (gives time to the group activities even though of her hectic schedules.)
Lhei-ai “the mom” (the soon to be mom but still keep in touch with the group)
Aubrey “the camera model” (always give a good pose when the camera is on her.)
Tan “the maintenance” (he passionately maintains the group’s forums well. Very hardworking guy)
Ugay “smile at me” (always gives a smile when she talks)
The net friends became real life good friends.
Who knows, maybe you too could be our friend. We don’t close our doors for other people who wants to join our group. Our policy is… “Quality over quantity”, it means that even we have only few members, as long as the loyalty and passion of the member is with the group.
DP group:
Whenever I go out the house I really hate the dust and the smoke vehicles make. Almost every car I saw makes this “black smoke” that made me cough to death. Even if I’m in a closed window car still the black smoke leaves a mark in the wind shield. Does these people do really care about the environment? Do they know that the Earth is facing big problems today and one of this is global warming? Smoke Pollution greatly inflicts critical damage into our lungs and causes the air to get thick and black and this also adds to the problem in global warming. Even the smoke of the cigars makes me cough, what more if it’s the smoke of the vehicles and factories. And did you know that people that smoke damages their lungs greatly but the people that only inhale the smoke are also damaging their lungs by not knowing. So if possible don’t stay near a person that smokes because you too will be damaging yourself from that smoke. The light of the sun is now fading because of this black smoke; it is covering the sunlight and also causing too much damage in the environment. I hate this smoke pollution because it made me a cough machine that coughs to death.
If we still want to live in this earth and let the next generations live too, we must stop smoke pollution and help Mother Nature regain its beauty. People who have vehicles please maintain your vehicles properly that it wouldn’t make black smokes. People that are fond of cigarettes, please stop now because you are cutting your life shorter, anyways, there are many treatments to cure that problem but if you really can’t stop that habit, just please avoid many people that doesn’t smoke, in other words, “if you want to die, die on your own, don’t involve others.”… Sa bisaya pa, “kung gusto ka mamatay, ikaw lang, ayaw pandamay.”…
Please help save mother earth.
Instead of excitement, confusion fills my head. I’m so confused deciding if I would stay in my current school or go back to the school where i was in my first year. I’m collecting all the information about the two schools to compare and to help me decide. I also ask friends from both schools to have an idea and to help me to choose easier. I consider these factors:
1. will my future be secured and assured to have a good future?
2. is the teaching good?
3. are the faculty capable of teaching their assigned course?
4. are the students easy to be friends with and approachable?
5. are the policies satisfy me?
6. are the school staff responsible and friendly?
7. is the environment good enough to satisfy me?
i don’t really mind the tuition and other fees because we can afford the two schools, as long as these seven factors satisfy me then there’s no problem.
Considering my course, BS in Information and Technology, i must choose a school with a good teaching and good facilities.
And i must choose the right one because it’s my last time to pick a school and i will stay in that school ’till i graduate.
A notebook that can kill a person in a matter of seconds. Ryuk, a shinigami (death God) intentionally drops his death note in the human world and was picked up by Light Yagami and later uses the alias of “Kira” a high school student who desperately wants to put justice to his hands. A detective only known as “L” was interested in the case of kira. When things seem clear for “L”, another death note was brought down to human world. Rem, the owner of the second death note is willing to sacrifice herself to Amane Misa the one who picked up the second death note. Amane Misa was so in love with Light because light gives justice to her family who was murdered but Light didn’t love Amane but instead he uses that love of Amane in his plan and it gave “L” a hard time in solving the case. “L” at first sight of Light had a feeling that Light is Kira so he used to stick with Light and he even let Light join his team in solving to Kira case. In the later part, “L” was killed because Rem sacrificed herself to protect Amane from being killed by “L”. Lawliet Ryuzaki was the real name of “L”. Near or “N” and Mello or “M” was the successor of “L”, they were the ones who continued the kira case. Mello was killed and “N” continued with the help of the National Police Agency and with Light’s father. Ryuk wrote down Light’s name on the deathnote because Light was already cornered by the team of “N” and the deal of Ryuk and Light was that if Light was cornered and almost dying, Ryuk would write Light’s name on the notebook.
DEATH NOTE’s rules
For me, I can work with minimum salary as long as I love my work and the people are good and nice but since I am the breadwinner in the family I must earn enough to support my family and also because of the price increase in almost all daily necessities to afford all this. If only I work for myself and those prices didn’t go that high, I won’t argue that much about the salary wage increase. I am so much passionate about my job but since money is involved I must also think about other stuffs like my family and others.
Money can sometimes greatly affect our passion, and that’s the reality.
labor day: May 1
People in the Philippines today especially laborers use this day as a “rally day”. Workers and other people march and always shout for high in salary. We can’t blame them for this because as we experienced today, the price of many daily necessities are getting higher and the people are having hard time in budgeting their salary. When they receive their salaries they can’t bring it home fully, there are many deductions; in tax, electric & water bill, “utang”, etc. Some people don’t have that much income to survive for a day, their alternatives are eating dirty foods, begging for some money in streets and some even do bad things in order to have something to eat. People now are desperately rallying to ask for a salary wage increase to the government.
Is this government working on this problem or they just let this issue pass again. This issue is still going back again and again for ages now and yet this has not been solved.
