This is a sequel of the Read or Die OVA and which includes the characters in both Read or Die OVA and manga and also includes the characters from Read or Dream manga which focuses on the Paper Sisters.

The story revolves on Nenene Sumiregawa’s (a famous writer) search for Yomiko Readman, Nenene’s teacher and best friend. With the help of the Paper sisters, Nenene had hope that she will find Yomiko in no time. The paper sisters are as follows:

Michelle Cheung, the eldest of the three and considered as the leader who uses a paper bow as a weapon.

Maggie Mui, a silent-shy-tomboyish type but yet the most useful of them all. She uses a paper shifting which is good weapon and defense in combat.

Anita King, the close combat type of fighter who uses her paper like a sword. Of all three, she is the only one who dislikes books.

Nenene and the Paper Sisters were involved in the conflict between the British Library and the Chinese Intelligence which lead them into finding Yomiko. Yomiko was gone for five years because she found guilty of herself for having many sacrifices for a wicked goals of the organization and didn’t want anymore to be involved in the British Library, Yomiko also have the last book which the organization was after and that made her the target of the organization.

The British Library’s purpose was to collect all the seven books of Gentlemen so that they could rewrite the history and made their own world using the books’ story and other information within it but with the power of the Paper Sisters and with the help of Nenene, Yomiko and her friends they stopped the British Library’s plan and the reordering of the world’s story.
